ALL HAIL

Based on Psalm 145

All Hail the Power of Jesus Name #549 LW

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.  Psalm 145: 1-2

 #1 All hail the pow’r of Jesus name! Let angels prostrate fall;

Bring forth the royal diadem And crown Him Lord of all.

Bring forth the royal diadem And crown Him Lord of all.

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts. They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty and I will meditate on your wonderful works, They will tell of the power of your awesome works, and I will proclaim your great deeds. They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalm 145: 3-7

Dear Jesus: over a lifetime of service our called church workers/spouses have proclaimed “your mighty acts” and have commended your works to the next generation. We praise God for the Veterans of the Cross, as we praise him for our Pastors who are “telling of the power of your awesome works”. Through the RMD-Debt Assistance Program and Scholarship Assistance to Students Preparing for Ethnic Ministry these workers are free to “ proclaim your great deeds”.

# 2 Crown Him, ye martyrs of our God, Who from His altar call;

Extol the stem of Jesse’s rod And crown Him Lord of all.

Extol the stem of Jesse’s rod And crown Him Lord of all.

The Lord is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. Psalm 145:8-9
